I wasn’t sure I’d find another Smilie & McArthur mark, so this made me feel good.

886 Cleveland Street

This is the earliest year I’ve found so far for Gus Johnson. As with some other sidewalk contractors, the first year of business tends to have the best-made marks.

620 Brooklyn Avenue

Brooklyn Avenue at Haddon Road

This is a better mark than my previous example from this year.

Looks like A. J. Warren did date his marks after all.

442 Foothill Boulevard

Hennig marks are kind of mysterious. What’s with the “19” in the middle—was that supposed to be for the year? All I know is that none of the three dated Hennig marks I’ve found do anything with it.
