A. J. Warren did several of the homes here, and General Con. Co. did most of the rest. This mark differs from others I’ve recorded from 1939 in that it shows the full year without adding the month.

Now that I’m approaching Banchero’s home territory I’m finding excellent strikes of dates I’ve previously documented.

There are a few people with this name in the city directories around 1930, but none labeled cement workers or at this address. No F. Gaulcos in the newspapers, either.

This strike is so good that the association oval is readable: it says “Cement Contractors Association / Member / Alameda County”
