Here’s a good strike of McMullin’s mark from 1932, in a configuration putting the month and day beneath the year. The odd-looking “2” really is a 2 and not an upside-down “5.”

1757 82nd Avenue

Rodrigues made a special point of scratching in his new address, which he adopted some time after June 18 of this year. By November 26, he was using a stamp with the new address in metal. The odd thing is, both addresses appear to be the same corner lot at Orral and 73rd.

8015 Holly Street

Hennig’s marks varied a lot this year; this one used just the last two digits of the year, with no month or day.

This date is awfully obscure, but it’s definitely not 1912.

1672 81st Avenue

This very old mark, on a long expanse of good strong sidewalk, tells me that I’m edging into historic Elmhurst. Reardon is a familiar name, but not Dowling, although this is rather near Dowling Street.
