880 43rd Street
This is the third 1911 mark I have, and as usual it’s different from the other two.
1911 – Frank Salamid & Co.
15 August 20101906 – Blake & Bilger
14 August 2010
1016 44th Street
There are two marks here, and the date is very faint but firm for both. This is right on the Emeryville line.
1937 – Poblitz
13 August 2010
550 Valle Vista Avenue
Poblitz marks are very scarce. This is the first one I’ve found with a date. The “61” is actually the end of the phone number, which is “AND-1661.” The date is in the middle.
1939 – J. A. Milner
12 August 2010
560 Valle Vista Avenue
Finally a second date for this guy. I’ve seen three different 1938s so far.
1935 – P. Barale
11 August 2010
551 Valle Vista Avenue
1929 – Paul Mortensen
10 August 2010
658 Valle Vista Avenue
Interesting: the whole mark is completely different from the previous year. I have since found another mark from this year, showing that the middle number is the month.
1928 – Paul Mortensen
9 August 2010
591 Mira Vista Avenue
