There are several of these on this block. The date appears beneath the mark, unlike my other example from this year.
1918 – Oakland Paving Co.
3 April 20111907 – Blake & Bilger

Moniz & Chves (Chaves)

H. Drath (old style)
31 March 2011
5849 Fremont Street
This is in front of a classic home with very old pavement. Drath later used a mark with straight text.
1947 – Nat Lena
30 March 2011
4th Street at Brush Street
1938 – N. Ferri
29 March 2011

Another example from the mysterious N. Ferri.
1932 – P. Barale
28 March 2011
669 9th Street
P. Barale marks had two varieties in 1932. At some point in the year, he removed the “& Co.” from his mark. This is a good example of the second variety.
