I’m thinking this would be in the Stonehurst neighborhood. I saw it on a 1939 map and figured it was paved at the time, unlike Sobrante Park just to the west. It was no surprise to see J. Rodrigues here.

J. Sweet was probably a professional, to judge from the quality of the signature. This is right near Lois the Pie Queen. That was a nice year, until the earthquake in October.
