This mark is cause for fireworks, pushing C. Valenzuela from 1950 all the way to the thirties. With a latest date of 1988, this mark puts Valenzuela in a tie with Frank Salamid for the longest record, 50 years.
Carlos Valenzuela is listed in the 1937 directory with no occupation, in the 1938 directory as a laborer, in the 1940 directory as a concrete worker and in the 1941 directory as a cement finisher, living at 992 35th Street with his wife Mary.

3915 E 12th Street
I now have Riechel & Bredhoff marks from 1932 of both types. This is the “easy arch” as opposed to the “tight arch.”

1227 41st Avenue
1926 is the scarcest year of the twenties, this mark being only the seventh I’ve documented here.

Marks from this year are quite scarce; this is only the third.
