I looked carefully but didn’t see an initial for Fugel, but I must presume that this was P. Fugel. The only other Fugel & Son mark I’ve found is actually Fugel & Sons, from 1927. I am far from untangling the history of the Fugels.
1915 – Schnoor Bros.

This mark pushes back Schnoor Bros. from 1922 to 1915. So now I have Paul Schnoor with a single date of 1908, P. Schnoor & Son with dates of 1911–1913, and Schnoor Bros. with dates starting at 1915 thanks to this unexpected mark.

Madison Street at 15th Street
This mark is clearly the Wolfe of Douglas & Wolfe, but I can’t tell if it precedes or succeeds the Douglas & Wolfe team, which extends from 1926 to 1940 in my records. My guess is that Wolfe came first.
