Charles J. Lindgren was active in the 1900s decade. I can’t find out much about him, but his son Charles Jr. appears to have continued in the contracting business. There is this alarming item from 1908 about him getting in a fist fight on a Berkeley streetcar.

This is right by its former mate at the corner of E. 20th Street and 12th Avenue, which is now gone.
111 Requa Road, Piedmont
The Reichel & Bredhoff firm left dates from 1921 to 1951, but I’m still missing a half-dozen years. So it was a pleasure to spot this one recently.
425 28th Street
This is actually at the back side of the Humanist Hall property. The date is so faint, and the trash from the oak trees so thick, that I never saw it before.
