AJW Construction patched the sidewalks of Shafter Avenue from 51st Street to College Avenue, so this mark is abundant there. I was a little worried that they had stopped stamping their work after 2006.
Duffin & Riding did this entire street, so it’s likely that their well-preserved 1941 marks will never be erased. My previous example of this date was pretty precarious.
That’s my name for the nice paved pathway between Castello Street and Pleasant Street, which must be rarely used. As is my custom, I document every different configuration of stamp and date that Frank Salamid used on his marks.
D & H must have been a very frugal firm. Not only did they save money by not paying for all the letters of their names on this stamp, but they didn’t even spring for the full name of Fruitvale.
