I have an F. E. Flaherty mark from his stamp, but this is not only a hand-drawn mark, but a really nice example of Flaherty’s decorative concrete work in a driveway. Wish I could show you the whole thing.

R. C. Malone marks are rarely legible, but they’re the first Fruitvale maker I ever found and I’m always happy to find one in any condition.

There aren’t many marks on 35th Avenue, but this is one of a pair of well-preserved J. Ogden marks on the stub of a former entry walk, the oldest I’ve found so far from this Fruitvale maker.
