This is a rare driveway by N. Lena, with a hand-drawn mark. In fact it appears to have been made by pressing a nail into the fresh concrete.

This is different from older and younger Lovisone marks. I”ll call it “Lovisone & Co.,” like the 1928 mark, although the “&” is upside-down and the “Co.” is only a “C” here.

The best example I’ve found of an S. Aiassa mark. The street signs can’t decide whether this is Rockridge or Rock Ridge Boulevard. The AAA map says Rock Ridge, but the Walk Oakland map and Google Maps both say Rockridge.
Whitepages.com lists only 22 people in California named Aiassa; there’s a cluster in the South Bay and a handful in SoCal.
