There are a bunch of those all along Seminary between International and Foothill Boulevards. This is the best of them.

39th Avenue and Masterson Street

Now that it’s 2014, I’ll be documenting every mark I find from 1914 as well as earlier years. This one has counterparts on the other corners here.

3719 Laurel Avenue

With the series that begins today and runs through the end of the month, I want to thank and acknowledge Nancy, who has kept her eyes on this area for more than a year before I arrived to survey things. She mentioned this mark in 2012, and it’s taken me until now to work my way over here.

2575 35th Avenue

There aren’t many marks on 35th Avenue, but this is one of a pair of well-preserved J. Ogden marks on the stub of a former entry walk, the oldest I’ve found so far from this Fruitvale maker.
