Otto Hennig signed his initial at least twice this year. This signature is different from the other example I’ve documented, including a flourish beneath the date that’s quite unlike the Hennig I thought I knew.

7515 Greenly Drive

J. Kemble left his initial off when he made this hand-drawn mark, unlike my other example.

7621 Valentine Street

I have another mark by F. Verheyen from this year, but here he included the day as well as the month with his rakish backslash.

3955 Burkhalter Avenue

Take my word for it that this mark reads “Arthur Moniz” and is dated 1934 underneath. It confirms the first name of A. Moniz.

The most precious aspect of this location is that we have this on the sidewalk at the entrance gate to the front walk. This is where Moniz lived with his family.

It’s a nice modest home with a big oak tree. I like to think what a pleasant spot this was in the years before the freeway was pushed through.
