3800 California Street

I found two marks by G. L. Patterson in this neighborhood.

3960 Magee Avenue

Ed Doty largely abandoned this straight-text mark after 1936, but he brought it out every now and then afterward.

3884 Loma Vista Avenue

“L-P” might be L. Putnam, but I kinda doubt it.

3700 block California Street

M. Dias used a pretty racetrack mark until at least 1930, but everything I have after 1934 is hand-drawn.

3922 Magee Avenue

C. Fischer (sometimes Fisher) used a proper stamp, at least in 1938, but the hand-drawn marks outnumber them so far.

3742 Loma Vista Avenue

I’m only guessing at the initials, but I have the feeling I’ll be seeing more marks by Mr. Ruiz that will let me know them for sure.

5434 Wentworth Avenue

This spectacular double mark is not a new year for J. B. Lee, but I thought it was worth showing anyway.
