This is the best example of a G. O. Thomas mark I’m likely ever to see.

The next few stamps come from two adjacent streets where most of the sidewalks and driveways are red. This is the first all-red district I’ve found in Oakland. Havenscourt feels like an enclave with its own long-standing customs.

There’s another one across the street. Oakland Paving may have done this whole block, back in the day.

3350 Morcom Avenue

I originally thought this said 1953, but I’ve revisited it and now I’ve listed it among the 1983s.

3474 Birdsall Avenue

This extends Hennig’s range another year into the 1940s.

4463 Redding Street

I’m getting a pretty full set of these going from 1924 to 1942.

This is about as clear as C. L. Rogers marks get.
