Castro Valley is a long way from Broadway Terrace. Perhaps I’ll find more as I push into East Oakland.

6142 Acacia Avenue

I am guessing, just on the basis of style, that this Fitzmaurice mark is of more recent vintage than the typical one. It’s the first one I’ve noticed. Oddly, the address is an empty lot left over from the 1991 fire. I’m guessing that the owner didn’t chip in when the sidewalks were repaved afterward.

Stub of 23rd Avenue at East 12th Street

I already have a Duffin mark, but this one is much better, and the location is special.

I’ve surveyed this block before but somehow missed this mark. So it looks like once I finish the whole city of Oakland, I should start over again.

Lakeshore Avenue behind 355 Wayne Avenue

I’ve always seen dated, text-only marks from T. A. Ryan before. Apparently he grew the business enough to become a more general contractor at some point.
