M. J. McDonough paved a few blocks on Harwood hill in 1922, but this is a handmade mark in the Grand Lake neighborhood. I’ve also found one on 10th Avenue.

This is why I always look where I’m going: when I first surveyed this block, there was probably a parked car or fallen leaves blocking this mark. Also, sometimes I just miss stuff despite all my care.
