There are several of these along this stretch of sidewalk, all with ambiguous dates. I interpret this as 1959 and the heck with it.

6 Wildwood Avenue, Piedmont

There aren’t a lot of Larry Frye marks out there, so I was happy to find a new date for him.

3345 69th Avenue

This establishes Brown at quite a later date than I had before.

1985 Scotia Avenue

A lot of these around here. The neighborhood homes are quite homogeneous, like a cookie-cutter piece of suburban places where I spent my tender years.

2915 Madera Avenue

1959 was the last year in which Valenzuela left his marks doubled-up like this; also the last year he used his nice metal numerals to make the dates (like this one from June). This appears to show that he had given those up by early October.

3960 Waterhouse Road

This is just a little ways from yesterday’s 1958 mark, but I checked it carefully and it’s a 1959, the latest date for R. G. Wolfe I’ve found yet.

Beaumont Avenue at Allman Street

This is actually a gutter mark. It’s the first Gallagher & Burk mark I’ve found from the 1950s.
