I have another 1939 Di Zillo mark, but this is much more presentable.

559 Merritt Avenue

This pushes P. Barale’s dates one year closer to J. Barale, whose earliest mark so far is 1946. Even seven years after he stopped calling himself “P. Barale & Co.,” there are traces of the old wording here, and he never got himself a new stamp. If they were indeed custom-cast bronze dies, it was probably too costly to bother.

G. Tribuzio after 1935 obscured the “425 Mkt. St.” underneath his name, probably because he stopped using that address.

Finally a second date for this guy. I’ve seen three different 1938s so far.

This completes my set of Henning marks between 1928 and 1942.

There are two marks with this date here, so even though it looks dodgy the date is secure.
