I have a Geo. Thomas stamp from this date, but this is hand-drawn. He drew the “E” with square corners, not like the stamp.

Hennig marks are kind of mysterious. What’s with the “19” in the middle—was that supposed to be for the year? All I know is that none of the three dated Hennig marks I’ve found do anything with it.

422 Haddon Road

1535 Mitchell Street

Oddly, Gus Johnson put the year first on this mark.

150 Alta Road

I have another McMullin mark from this year, but that one has a hand-drawn date.

883 Athens Avenue

This is a half-charming, half-desolate street in West Oakland with a lot of old sidewalk and Victorian homes. A lot of the dates are hard to read, though.

3915 E 12th Street

I now have Riechel & Bredhoff marks from 1932 of both types. This is the “easy arch” as opposed to the “tight arch.”
