Not often that I find a date from this venerable worker, especially at this end of town.

This area was more pleasant before the freeway came through, and the streetscape and houses show it.

2626 Madeline Street

I love J. Andersen’s oval. The address on the stamp is where the new Kaiser hospital is going up; before that it was the MacArthur-Broadway Shopping Center. Howe Street used to go farther than it does now.

2133 Damuth Street

Good ol’ Schrumpf also did work on the other side of Fruit Vale near the Altenheim.
