I’ve found this mark before, but this example is pristine.

3035 Eastman Avenue

This neighborhood was extensively worked on by J. B. Lee, but the marks are almost all from 1925. Not this baby, which is one of a pair.

3719 Laurel Avenue

Hard to read, but definitely another rare example of R. P. Smilie’s work. My other example from 1924 is configured differently.

3212 Laurel Avenue

Here’s another mark that Nancy made note of in 2012. It was a pleasure to find it myself, and I hope it lasts many more years.

3450 38th Avenue

I would have let this go, except that C. A. Lindstrom put his “D” down backwards. And I’m not too cure about the “O,” either.

2907 Short Street

Short Street has several different old marks by W. Pool, not to be confused with (I presume) his son G. Pool.

3835 Whittle Avenue

Not sure of the name.
