This is right across the driveway from yesterday’s 1901 mark, but it’s definitely from 1907. My other example has a similar ad-hoc appearance in the “7.”

Sadly this beautiful mark has very recently been paved over. Fortunatly the nearby 1901 Peterson & Adler mark is still there, as is the faint 1912 J.C. Estey mark just down the street at 359 Orange. These are right in my neighborhood so I pass by them from time to time.
I sometimes wonder whether the current generation of paving contractors ever feel bad about removing these old stamps of their predecessors.
