A fine double mark, though the date is dim. Oakland has a double mark from 1907.

    I’d seen this double mark before and had listed it as 1908 rather than 1906 so I went back this morning to have another look. The last digit of the year isn’t easy to decipher but I do believe it’s 1908 – the upper loop of the 8 on both parts of the mark are faint but it looks to me like they’re there.
