I saw that I commented here before. J stood for Joseph. Please email me and I will get further history from my mother. She is 89 and has lots to say about her uncle and the history of the company and land they owned. Where Bishop O’Dowd stands (my alma mater) was their land. They donated it to the diocese for the school.
