I walk in this area from time to time since I live not too far away but haven’t yet spotted this one. It’s in such great shape! Don’t know if it has been paved over or if it might be hidden under leaves and other debris, or if I’ve just somehow missed seeing it. At least there’s another 1909 F.E. Nelson stamp a block away on Moss but that one is in considerably worse condition than the one shown in your photo here.
I can now say that this mark is gone. The debris that had covered part of the paved areas in front of this house has been cleaned up, and no sign of the 1909 F.E. Nelson mark anywhere. The driveway, along with the sidewalk and curb cut directly in front of it, have been repaved sometime in the recent past, so I’m guessing that’s where the mark had been located.
