    This morning I spotted the oldest dated Stevenson stamp I’ve seen, from 1909 in West Berkeley. The year is hand-written below the stamp, and although the last numeral is partially cut off, it looks clearly to be a 9. Fits in with several 1907 and 1908 Esterly stamps on the same block.
