This is a configuration of the Catucci mark that I haven’t seen before. Tomorrow I’ll present a version from 1916. Both are in the neighborhood around the Catucci Building at 18th Avenue and E. 12th Street.

    Thank you for your blog. We just lost my mom at age 94- the last of the Catucci girls. In her last conversation she was regaling the priest (an Oakland native too) with stories of the quarry around Bishop O’Dowd HS

    Thanks for keeping Oakland alive. As I go through her photos I will send you any of interest. I know we have photos of the Catucci building.
