1906 – Peterson & Adler

1906

820 58th Street

This is the third 1906 Peterson & Adler mark I’ve found, and it’s by far the best preserved one by this maker, although the light doesn’t flatter it.

Posted after midnight, yet… You’re awesome Andrew. By the way, I saw this stamp in Hollywood from 1915 and it had the image of a house complete with a brick chimney. The whole stamp, if I remember correctly, was about 4″ by 6″ inches.

That sounds great. The fanciest mark I’ve seen in these parts is the Gardner E. Marshall fleur-de-lis.

(The midnight thing is just the time I specify for the post to go live; it’s scheduled as much as three weeks in advance.)
