There are two varieties of Riechel & Bredhoff mark. In this one, the makers’ name has a full arch. I have specimens from 1924 and 1929 so far. The other one has a flattened arch with sharply curved ends, so that the name fits better in the racetrack outline. The years of the two marks overlap, so who knows what that’s about.
