    So do you know what W.O’s relationship was to F.E.? I’m assuming F.E. was the father…

    The two Nelsons have overlapping dates in Oakland: F.E. goes from 1909 to 1931, W.O. from 1914 to 1933 in my collection so far. So I would guess that they are more likely to be brothers, like the Tribuzios (G. and N.), or cousins.

    Interesting, thanks! I had been wondering about the Tribuzios… I have one stamp from G., and another one that is handwritten that doesn’t quite look like an “N” but has a different license number. http://sidewalksecrets.blogspot.com/search/label/G.%20Tribuzio
