I’m not sure how long Frank Salamid kept “& Co.” on his marks. Some from the 1920s seem to have the ghost of it, like this one, but the marks are generally so shallow that it’s hard to tell.

    As many times as I’ve taken walks around my Adams Point neighborhood and kept an eye out for paving contractor marks over the past year or so, I still find ones I’ve somehow overlooked. Spotted a 1923 Frank Salamid stamp this afternoon on Bellevue Avenue that I must have walked by at least a half-dozen times without seeing it.
